Castelrotto Day 5, Last day

  Our final challenge was to take route 4 and hike all the way up to Compatsch from Kustelruth. It is 5.4 miles mostly up hill.

Castelrotto Day 4

 

 

 

 

Ortisei / St. Ulrich in Val Gardena in South Tyrol

Today we decided to walk locally. The hikes are well marked with finger posts. Fortunately, with perfect walking temperatures and beautiful country side 11 miles brought us to St. Ulrich. This time we had time to explore this city, know for its wood carvings.

Castelrotto Day 3

By getting on the wrong bus this morning, we ended up in St. Ulrich. Our day's challenge was to walk through the valley back to Compatsct.
